Countdown with us

Have you ever been part of the Easter Parade down Ford Street? Whether you joined a group, built a float, or watched the festivities, this beloved parade has a rich history.

For nearly 100 years, it’s featured moments like Daniel Cameron riding horses with golden horseshoes and Beechworth Bakery tossing dough into the crowd.

In 2026, we’ll be hosting a special retrospective. If you have photos, films, or memorabilia, we’d love to see them!

  • There’s a job for every age, skill, and level of energy:

  • Helping hands at parades and events

  • Welcoming visitors with a friendly smile
Setting up (and packing down) the fun

  • Supporting performers, stallholders and community groups

  • …and plenty more behind-the-scenes magic!

We’re excited to announce that Greta from Beechworth Primary School is this year’s winner! Her amazing design perfectly captured the theme “Cultures Through Time” and will now take pride in place on our festival posters, programs, and displays. Congratulations, Greta!

We couldn’t keep the creativity of the rest of the entries to ourselves— so many amazing young artists!

Thank you!
